What Else
Joint run with Hooray Henley. See Hooray Henley website for more details and flyer. Please NOTE the 11am start time. The train to go for is the 1015 from Paddington, which also calls Ealing Broadway 1024, Southall 1028, Hayes & Harlington 1032, West Drayton 1037, etc. Change at Twyford (arr 1101) for the 1114 to Henley-on-Thames (arr 1125). The hash should start from the nearby car park between the railway and the river (hopefully there will be a P-trail) shortly after that - there''''ll be a car or two to leave bags in. Day return fare (from Padd) to Henley-on-Thames is £13. Note that Groupsave is NOT available to Henley during Regatta week, so befriend anyone with a Network or Gold Card. Booking office at Paddington is likely to be very busy that morning, so allow plenty of time (or obtain tickets in advance from any National Rail station). Note also that there are no Circle trains on Sunday, nor any service at all on the sub-surface (Met/H&C/Circle) lines E of Edgware Rd, but Paddington is still accessible by the Bakerloo, District (Wimbledon - Edgware Rd branch) and H&C (from the Hammersmith side) Lines. The western end of the District Line (for Ealing Bdy) looks to be running normally.
